Noel Gallagher To Release Amorphous Androgynous Material In March

Legendary singer-songwriter-guitarist Noel Gallagher has revealed that he will next month be releasing the first new tracks from his second post-Oasis project – his collaboration with psychedelic rock group Amorphous Androgynous.

His debut album with new band The High Flying Birds has seen great success, with the record selling over half a million copies and tour dates selling-out extremely quickly. And, although he is also working on the follow-up to the eponymous album, he is now set to release material from his collaboration with Amorphous Androgynous – a.k.a The Future Sound of London.

‘Shoot a Hole in the Sun’ is the first confirmed track of theirs to come out, and will be featured as a B-side on the High Flying Bird single ‘Dream On’, which hits shelves on March 12th. No-one really knows what the new tracks will sound like, but Noel described it as ‘fucking far out’, and said of the album: “It’s got like 18 tracks on it, some of its kraut-rock, some of its soul, some of its funk and that's just the first song.”
