Adele Could Duet With Tinie Tempah For New Track, Says Labrinth

Superstar soul singer Adele could be writing and recording a duet with hip-hop star Tinie Tempah, according to reports from singer, songwriter and record producer Labrinth.

ImageThe pair of stars have actually met up before to work together, but no song was written or performed as both of them were restricted by their busy work schedules – with Tempah saying: “we started to talk about it, but because of how crazy things went for her we never really got round to completing that conversation.” But, if Labrinth is to be believed, they’ve both met up once again at his studio – and there could be a completed track out by the end of the year.

“They actually did come down and we talked about doing that, so it might just end up happening this year,” Labrinth told Capital FM. “You never know, they might just call me and be like, 'Lab, you need to help us create this baby'.”

Meanwhile, Adele is set to make her live comeback at this month’s Grammy Awards, after a number of months out of the scene. Adele was forced to cancel live dates in both the UK and the US after suffering from a benign polyp, requiring her to have vocal cord surgery.

She said: “It's an absolute honour to be included in such a night and for it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-racking, but what a way to get back into it all.”

She will be making her UK return at the BRIT Award Ceremony later in the month.
