'Here And Now: The Very Best Of The 80s' Confirmed For Lytham Proms Festival Weekend 2012

A selection of iconic 80’s popstars will headline the opening night of Lytham Proms Festival Weekend 2012 on Friday 3rd August. “Here and Now, The Very Best of the 80’s” will feature stars: Bananarama, Rick Astley, The Real Thing, Belinda Carlisle, Toyah, Curiosity Killed the Cat and T’Pau in what is dubbed as being the Fylde Coast’s biggest party ever!

Here And Now, the most successful high profile 80's live show, has become a runaway success ever since it was launched in 2001by Tony Denton Promotions. The unique show ‘Here And Now, The Very Best of the 80’s’ features the artistes performing back to back hit’s, accompanied by a live band and promising to be three hours of non-stop hits.

Having completed a 2010 tour of the UK the show comes to Lytham with a host of well-known faces, a full production, a live band and plenty of retro glitter. The non-stop 3 hour show promises to get everyone dancing the night away, whilst sipping a cocktail or even a glass of something fizzy from the event bars. A spokesperson for event organisers Cuffe and Taylor said: “Here and Now, The Very Best of the 80’s is a great way to open Lytham Proms Festival Weekend 2012.

The line-up is terrific and it promises to be a night of fun and dancing. The Friday night is traditionally our ‘Heritage’ night, so this fits in perfectly. We hope the audience come along in great spirits, ready to dance and sing the night away!”

The show takes the audience back to the 80’s for a fun filled evening of singing and dancing. The non-stop show is sure to thrill the crowds and open this year’s Lytham Proms Festival Weekend in style.
