South African Model Claims To Have Given Birth To Pete Doherty's Child

A South African model is claiming to have given birth to a child belonging to 32 year-old indie-rocker Pete Doherty – in what could be a major Babyshambles for the star.
Lindi Hingston has made the claims to South African newspaper the South African Sunday Times, who have also displayed pictures of the mother together as well as an interview with her – where she claims to have written to Doherty in jail to explain that she was pregnant with his child. Doherty already has one child, through Kill City vocalist Lisa Moorish.
“I wrote to him in prison,” Hingston told the paper. “He wrote back saying he was over the moon.” But, no matter how over the moon he may be (or may not be), Doherty has yet to meet the child – as he’s either been in prison or on probation after being found in possession of class A drug cocaine, meaning he can’t travel to South Africa.
