Snoop Dogg: 'New Album Will See Me Becoming Who I Really Am'

West-coast hip-hop superstar Snoop Dogg is set to release his latest album ‘Reincarnated’ – and has revealed that the record will show his ‘true personality’ and is the ‘birth of me becoming who I really am’.

The comments may be confusing for fans, especially those who’ve already heard 11 albums and 21 years worth of Snoop Dogg material, but Dogg has sworn that the album will have an ‘element of surprise’ – and that the record showcases his true self for the first time.

Speaking to MTV News, Snoop said: “It's a project where it's more about the element of surprise, but at the same time it'll be talked about in due time. It's special; it's a real special project to me because it's like the reincarnation and the birth of me becoming who I really am.”

He continued: “I never really knew who I was through music. I was always a very peaceful, kind, loving, caring individual and making music to symbolize that sometimes never was my key. This record gives me an opportunity to the world of the stadium. Those are the kind of songs that last 40, 50 years.”
