Californian blues-rockers Rival Sons have confirmed a number of European festival appearances for this summer.
The band, who are currently on a sold-out tour in the UK with Black Stone Cherry before heading to mainland Europe for a run of headlining shows, are among the latest groups to be confirmed for the Sweden Rock, Pinkpop (Netherlands), Ruisrock (Finland), Rock am Ring and Rock im Park (Germany) festivals.
Rival Sons guitarist Scott Holiday comments: "Last summer we hit a pretty good amount of festivals through the UK and Europe, but after the last tour through Europe - receiving such a great response, and support from our fans - we worked really hard to get back out for these festivals... So, this summer we are attempting to fit twice as many in! Thus far we have been able to announce: Pinkpop - Netherlands, Sweden Rock, Rock am Ring/Rock im Park - Germany, as well as Ruisrock in Finland. For our fans in the rest of the world, don't worry! There are a ton more festival dates that we will announce as they grow closer.
"As far as the dates already mentioned, we couldn't be more stoked to play these killer festivals in some of our favorite countries. Additionally, you can bet your bottom dollar we'll be following these shows up with a ton of headlining dates, running right up to the release of our new record.
