Rihanna Claims Critics 'Won't Stop' Her Reuniting With Chris Brown

Barbados-born beauty Rihanna has put her foot down in the dispute between the media, herself, and Chris Brown, telling critics that they wouldn’t be able to stop her reuniting with her ex – despite their hugely-controversial 2009 break-up after Brown physically assaulted her.
The incident a couple of years ago ended their high profile relationship abruptly – but now Brown is trying to work his way back into her life, and the pair recently worked on a remix of ‘Birthday Cake’ together. Now, it seems like there’s nothing stopping Rihanna getting back with him – even though her friends are ’terrified’ at the idea of them rekindling their love.
Rihanna told Elle Magazine: “It's very hard for me to accept, but I get it. People end up wasting their time on the blogs or whatever, ranting away, and that's all right. I don't hate them for it. But I'm still going to do what I want to do.”
She continued on to talk about the incident itself, revealing: “It gave me guns. I was like, 'Well, fuck.' They know more about me than I want them to know. It's embarrassing. But that was my opening. That was my liberation, my moment of ‘bring it’. I wanted people to know who I am. Whatever they take that to be, good or bad, I just want them to know the truth.”
