Lil Wayne Set To Record Album Of 'Love Songs'

Hip-hop superstar Lil Wayne has revealed that he's been working on some totally different new material – and has an album of 'love songs' that'll be hitting shelves near you soon.
The usually controversial gangster rapper has seemingly turned over a new leaf with his latest collection of tracks and is set to start recording the new material in the coming months, meaning it won't be long before the album – which is entitled 'Devol' - gets a release. But, don't expect much romanticism – the tracks were all written while the rapper was doing time in the slammer.
Speaking to MTV News, Wayne said: “[Devol] is 'loved' spelled backwards, and it's my version of love songs. hat I mean by my version of love songs is meaning they're not saying, 'I love you'. It's all material I did when I was locked up.”
Wayne was recently locked up of or eight months after being found guilty of unlawful possession of a weapon – after he and a friend were spotted smoking cannabis near a tour bus whilst in possession of a .40 calibre pistol. He was released in November 2010.NOTE FROM THE EDITOR
