Guns n Roses star Steven Adler has confessed that he still 'loves' bandmate Axl Rose, despite his decision to snub the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame induction, which took place on Saturday (April 14th).
Guns n Roses were subject to intense amounts of speculation in the run up to the event, with fans worldwide hoping that the original line-up would get back together for the first time in over 15 years.
But, Rose recently squashed the rumours, and declared that he wouldn't even be attending it – because he fdidn't feel 'wanted or respected' by his bandmates. The decision left him a villain amonst attendees, with the crowd booing at every mention of Axl's name – but it seems Adler is still a fan of the star, and confessed that he is 'blessed' that Axl was a part of his life.
Speaking to The Rolling Stone, Adler said: “It's such an honour to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, but then I found out that KISS isn't in here, and then I found out the other day that Rush isn't in there. They've got to be inducted. If it wasn't for those bands and a couple other ones, there wouldn't be a Guns N' Roses.”
He added: “All I have to say is I love Axl very much and I was blessed that... he was a part of my life.”
