First Aid Kit Announce Details Of New Single 'Blue' & Jack White Support Dates

First Aid Kit will release their brand new single ‘Blue’ on 18th June via Wichita, following their appearance at Coachella and their US TV debut on Conan O’Brien, which is available to watch on YouTube here.

Their last single ‘Emmylou’ was a radio hit getting playlisted on Radio 2, 6 Music and Xfm and scored ‘Record of the Week’ plaudits from Edith Bowman and Mary Anne Hobbs. Together with their latest album 'The Lion’s Roar' entering the top 40 in the UK and selling 100,000 copies worldwide in the first six weeks of release (and a Number One spot in their home country Sweden which has since gone Gold) First Aid Kit have had a phenomenal year, reflected by their Spotify streams reaching an unprecedented 7.3 million hits.

To top it all off, First Aid Kit played a bewitching set to a packed out Scala in February and will return to play with none other than Jack White, who said: “I loved their voices and their innocence... listening to them sing is very powerful. They’re wonderful”, at his sold out London shows in June. Festival dates will follow including Latitude, Bestival and End of the Road.
