With early bird tickets for the festival’s tenth anniversary having sold out in record time, Supersonic has made another intriguing announcement ahead of the event in October.
An exclusive UK performance from Sonic Youth guitarist Kim Gordon in collaboration with Boston based noise musician Bill Nace under the name Body/Head is, of course, the sort of thing you would only get at Supersonic. Sure to be a memorable set, this unique collaboration has only occurred in the live arena a handful of times before across the pond and so this may be a seriously special opportunity to see two fine avant-garde musicians on stage together.
Body/Head join an already exciting Supersonic line-up completed by artists such as Bohren & Der Club of Gore, Tim Hecker, JK Flesh and Dylan Carlson. Tickets are available from www.theticketsellers.co.uk and the event takes place from the 19 th to 21st October in sunny old Birmingham.
