Sebastian Ingrosso, one third of the almighty Swedish House Mafia, and his 20 year-old protégé Alesso have teamed up with world-renowned singer/songwriter Ryan Tedder for their debut single ‘Calling (Lose My Mind)’ which will be released through Mercury Records on the 28th May.
As part of Swedish House Mafia, Sebastian Ingrosso has had international hits with songs such as 'One (Your Name)', 'Save the World', and 'Antidote'. And, as head of A&R for his label Refune, Sebastian constantly discovers and develops new talent.
Among them is Alesso, who, at only 20 years old, has found his career exploding with huge productions such as 'Nillionaire' and 'Raise Your Head'. He’s also one of the most sought-after remixers around following his huge mixes for the likes of Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta, LMFAO, Nadia Ali, Starkillers and Alex Kenji.
Now, they are taking it to the next level with the release of ‘Calling (Lose My Mind)’. With the original version already one of Zane Lowe's Hottest Records in the World and a top 3 track on Beatport, the new version calls upon the writing and vocal skills of One Republic’s Ryan Tedder. With a global premiere by Swedish House Mafia on Pete Tong’s show and such a stellar line-up of talent, it’s receiving amazing reaction on radio – and is playlisted at Radio 1, Kiss and Capital.
The pair are also are inviting fans to an exclusive Spotify house party. By setting up a special room in the Soundrop app on Spotify, the DJs will be sharing some of their favourite tunes ‘live’ inside the app - including the single 'Calling (Lose My Mind)' – with the party set to take place on June 1st. Fans can then vote directly in the app to decide what tracks will be played next. The two DJs will also be chatting directly to their fans inside Soundrop with the party in full swing.
