Sheryl Cole: "I Have A Benign Brain Tumour"

American singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow has reportedly been diagnosed with having a brain tumour – though it is benign and unlikely to cause Crow any serious harm.

The superstar has revealed that she was diagnosed with the condition in November last year and only went for an MRI scan after becoming concerned with the fits she had been suffering from and the apparent memory loss which had caused her to forget lyrics whilst performing on stage. The star doesn’t have too much to worry about, though – as the tumour is benign.

“I haven't really talked about it,” Crowd told the Las Vegas Review Journal. “In November, I found out I have a brain tumour. But it's benign, so I don’t have to worry about it. But it gives me a fit. I worried about my memory so much that I went and got an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). And I found out I have a brain tumour. And I was like, 'See? I knew there was something wrong'.”
