Opeth Announce November UK Tour

Swedish metal outfit Opeth have announced a UK tour for this November, following the release of ‘Heritage’, their tenth studio album.

Combining several metal styles, with progressive and death metal cited as the most important, Opeth has consistently incorporated influence by progressive music, folk, blues rock and jazz into their usually lengthy songs.

The veteran metalheads, who kicked off their career way back in 1990, will storm the UK on November 12th accompanied by Anathema for a gig in Nottingham’s Rock City. They’ll then be performing in Glasgow’s ABC, Dublin’s Vicar Street, Leeds’ Metropolitan University, and then London’s Union Chapel – for what the band have described as an ‘unplugged’ show. Opeth will conclude the tour with a show in Portsmouth’s Pyramid Centre.

Tickets for the tour are set to cost around £18.50 + fees (£20.00 + fees in London and Glasgow) and go onsale next Friday (June 15th) at 9am. Check the dates and details below for more information.
