Shakira will take her record-breaking Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour to Europe later this year.
The Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning Colombian superstar has confirmed a special three-show residency in Madrid, Spain, marking her first shows in the region in eight years.
The residency will be held at the purpose-built "Shakira Stadium" on September 25, 26 and 27, a temporary venue at the 185,000 sqm Iberdrola Music space in the Villaverde district, with a capacity of over 50,000 fans per night.
Designed as more than a concert, the residency will transform the site into an immersive experience, where music, art and community come together to celebrate cultural roots. Madrid will also host a wide range of activities curated by Shakira under the name Es Latina, including concerts, exhibitions, talks, workshops, film, gastronomy, literature, and shared cultural experiences.
Tickets for all three shows go on general sale at 10am local time on March 27.
Following the recent close of the Mexico leg, the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour will continue with shows in the Middle East and India over the coming weeks, before the singer plays a huge free show on Brazil's Copacabana beach on May 2, following in the footsteps of Madonna and Lady Gaga.
The tour takes its name from Shakira's album of the same name, her first in seven years, which was released in 2024.
Last month, the singer was announced as a nominee for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's class of 2026. The final inductees will be selected through votes from over 1,000 music historians, industry professionals and inducted artists, alongside a public fan vote, which is open now via the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's website.
