Lionel Richie has announced a UK exclusive show in Norfolk this summer.
The four-time Grammy-winning singer will play an outdoor show at the Royal Sandringham Estate on August 20, with special guests still to be announced. Tickets go on sale at 9am on March 27. Giles Cooper of HeritageLive Festivals commented:
"Lionel Richie is quite simply one of the greatest entertainers of all time. From his early days at Motown through to the incredible solo career that has seen him sell millions of records and perform to audiences all over the world, his music has soundtracked generations. To have an artist of his calibre perform an exclusive UK show for us at The Sandringham Estate in 2026 is truly special, and we can’t wait for what is going to be an unforgettable evening of timeless music!"
Richie's performance will open this year's Heritage Live concert series at the Estate, joining the previously announced Eric Clapton, who headlines with an exclusive show on August 23 with special guest Ronnie Wood.
Earlier in the summer, Richie will embark on his Sing a Song All Night Long Tour across North America, joined by special guests Earth, Wind and Fire. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
He released his latest studio album, 'Tuskegee', in 2012, though he dropped the live LP 'Hello From Las Vegas' in 2019.
Also set to headline Heritage Live shows next summer are Faithless, Richard Ashcroft, Ministry Of Sound Classical and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, all of whom will perform at Englefield Estate near Reading. Scissor Sisters, The Streets, Pete Tong Ibiza Classics and Faithless are confirmed to perform for the series at the Audley End Estate in Saffron Walden in Essex. Tickets are on sale now.
