Shakira And Burna Boy Release Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Song Dai Dai

Shakira and Burna Boy have teamed up for a new song, Dai Dai.
Released via Sony Music Latin, the track blends Latin-pop and Afrobeat sounds and serves as the official song for this summer's FIFA World Cup. It will also benefit the Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million by the end of the tournament to help children access quality education and sport.
The Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning Colombian superstar will donate her royalties from Dai Dai to the fund, with Sony Music matching the first $250,000 raised. She will also headline the FIFA World Cup final halftime show on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, alongside Madonna and K-Pop megastars BTS.
"The World Cup is one of the few things the entire world experiences together," Burna Boy said. "Football and music speak the same language. They bring people together no matter where you’re from and being part of this moment through music means a lot to me."
Hot on the heels of her massive free show on Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana Beach earlier this month, where she played to over two million fans as part of the Todo Mundo No Rio concert, Shakira will take her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour across the US beginning next month, followed by a 12-date residency in Madrid in September and October, her first shows in the region in eight years. She'll also play a rescheduled show at the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt and headline Abu Dhabi's Offlimits Music Fest in November.
The tour is named after her 2024 album, her first in seven years, and tickets are on sale now. The singer is also donating $1 from every ticket sold to the Global Citizen Education Fund.
She recently featured on a remix of Zara Larsson's track Eurosummer, from 'Midnight Sun: Girls Trip', a reimagining of the Swedish artist's fifth album, 'Midnight Sun'. Head here for more details on that.
Burna Boy released his eighth album, 'No Sign Of Weakness', in 2025, and is set to headline Milton Keynes' Reggae Land in July, following dates in Portugal and the Netherlands. Tickets are on sale now.
