Due to pre-sale demand, Shakira has added more dates to her residency in Madrid later this year as part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.
The Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning Colombian superstar has extended the run at the purpose-built "Shakira Stadium" with new shows on September 18, 19 and 20, adding to her previously scheduled performances on on September 25, 26 and 27.
The six-date residency will mark Shakira's first shows in the region in eight years. Tickets for her performances on September 18, 19, and 20 go on general sale at 12pm local time on Friday (March 27), while tickets for the September 25, 26, and 27 shows go on sale two hours earlier, at 10am local time.
Announced last week, the residency will transform the 50,000-capacity Iberdrola Music space in the Villaverde district into an immersive experience, where music, art and community come together to celebrate cultural roots. The city will also host a wide range of activities curated by Shakira under the name Es Latina, including concerts, exhibitions, talks, workshops, film, gastronomy, literature, and shared cultural experiences.
Shakira will next take the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt on April 7, after recently cancelling her dates in the Middle East and India due to rising tensions in the regions, before a huge free show on Brazil's Copacabana beach on May 2. The tour takes its name from her first album in seven years, released in 2024.
