Due to ongoing demand, Shakira has added another three dates to her residency in Madrid later this year as part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.
The Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning Colombian superstar has extended the run at the purpose-built "Shakira Stadium" with new shows on October 2, 3 and 4.
She first announced the residency last week with three dates on September 25, 26 and 27 before confirming three more shows earlier this week on September 18, 19 and 20 due to pre-sale demand. The newly added shows bring her total at the venue to nine, with the residency marking Shakira's first dates in the region in eight years.
Tickets for her performances on September 18, 19, and 20 go on general sale at 12pm local time on Friday (March 27), while tickets for her dates on September 25, 26 and 27 go on sale two hours earlier, at 10am local time. Tickets for her October shows go on sale at 10.30am local time.
The residency will transform the 50,000-capacity Iberdrola Music space in Madrid's Villaverde district into an immersive experience, where music, art and community come together to celebrate cultural roots.
The city will also host a range of activities curated by Shakira under the banner Es Latina, including concerts, exhibitions, talks, workshops, film, gastronomy, literature and shared cultural experiences.
Shakira will next take the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt on April 7, before a free show on Brazil's Copacabana beach on May 2. The tour is names after her 2024 album, her first in seven years.
