Ms. Lauryn Hill will bring her Diaspora Calling! festival to the UK for a major open-air event this summer.
The inaugural UK edition will take place on August 7 at the 65,000-capacity Milton Keynes National Bowl, with Hill headlining what is currently her only confirmed UK performance of the year.
As well as a rare appearance from the eight-time Grammy Award-winning singer, rapper and songwriter, the event will feature performances from fellow Fugees founding member Wyclef Jean, YG Marley and Zion Marley.
More acts across two stages are to be revealed in the coming months. The event will also feature a street food village and immersive art installations. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on March 31.
Originally launched in 2016 by Hill, Diaspora Calling! was conceived as a celebration of African diaspora culture and creativity, growing from an art exhibition and live performance at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York into a tour featuring artists like Nas, Kehlani, Noname and Little Simz.
Hill last appeared in the UK in autumn 2024 with The Fugees onThe Miseducation Anniversary Tour, celebrating her landmark album, 1998's 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill' and The Fugees' second and final record, 1996's 'The Score.
Before her return to the UK, she'll perform at the fifth annual Dinner on the Diamond presented by Sycuan Casino Resort at Petco Park on April 30.
