The Civil Wars' Joy Williams Gives Birth To First Child

Joy Williams, one half of Americana/country duo The Civil Wars, has announced the birth of her first child.
Miles Alexander Yetton was born on June 30th to mother Joy and her husband Nate Yetton in Nashville, Tennessee. Both the baby and his mama are happy and healthy following the birth, and will hopefully not have an effect on the band’s autumn UK tour. Speaking of the birth, Williams revealed: “I never really knew the meaning of love at first sight until today.”
The Civil Wars are a new band fresh out of Nashville. They released their debut UK 7” single ‘Barton Hollow’ independently on their own Sensibility Music label in October, and then released their debut album of the same name on 1st February.
The band will head out on tour once again this October and November, after touring the country once already this year back in spring. If you’re a fan and want to catch the band live, check the dates and details below.
