BBC Sound of 2012-nominated girl group Stooshe have announced a one-off show at London’s Bush Hall.
The R&B trio will perform in the English capital on September 19th, and the date currently lies as their only scheduled headline gig of the year - tickets are onsale now and cost £12.50 + fees. The show coincides with the release of their eponymous debut album, meaning you’ll get to hear all of their new material live. 'Stooshe' hits shelves on September 9th.
Forming in 2010, the three - consisting of Alexandra Buggs, Karis Anderson, and Courtney Rumbold - made swift movements in the music scene, and signed to Warner Music Group the following year. Earning themselves a nomination for the BBC Sound of 2012, the band have gone from strength to strength, and have had a hugely successful year.
Their first single from the album - ‘Love Me’ - managed to hit #5 in the UK Singles chart upon release, and their second ‘Black Heart’ reached even higher to #4. Their third single is set to hit shelves in September too - and by then, you’ll be able to buy the whole LP.
The girls also have their fair share of live experience, and just finished supporting none other than Nicki Minaj on her recent UK tour - so the girls will definitely be putting on a good performance when it comes to their own show this September.
