Blur To Perform At London's Legendary 100 Club & Ticket Details

Blur are to perform at London's historic 100 Club, in partnership with Converse, on Thursday 2nd August. To get hold of tickets, fans should head to www.converse.co.uk/blur from between 9.00am and 6,00pm on Wednesday 1st August.
London's legendary 100 Club, one of the capital's most historic live venues, was in serious doubt about it's ability to remain open after being unable to meet extortionate rent prices during 2011. However, earlier this year, Converse saved the club with a generous donation, keeping the intimate venue alive.
Converse is today excited to announce Blur as very special guests to headline 'Represent' at the legendary venue on Thursday 2nd August. For tickets, head to www.converse.co.uk/blur for details.
Twenty one years after the release of 1991 debut album ‘Leisure,' Blur have unveiled two new songs 'Under The Westway' and 'The Puritan''. Prior to their sold-out Hyde Park show on 2nd August, award-winning Blur will perform their first ever gig at the intimate 100 Oxford Street club. Expect an intimate set, delivered to just a fortunate few, full of tracks from across their acclaimed career.
This new Blur show will complete a week of live gigs at the club. The venue is to host intimate shows from the likes of Plan B, UK Subs, Paul Weller and Spiritualized, kicking-off on Monday 30th July through until Friday 10th August, 2012.
