Lower Than Atlantis Première Video For 'Love Someone Else'

Thursday, 26 July 2012 Written by Jon Stickler

Lower Than Atlantis have premiered the first video to come from their major label debut album 'Changing Tune'. The video is for the track 'Love Someone Else' and features the band hanging out in a diner while the underdog waiter gains his long awaited retribution.

Although it looks as though the band jetted off to LA to film this, it was actually shot in the slightly less glamorous Perivale in London and directed by Luke Bellis. Luke was handpicked by the band, singer Mike Duce said: "Our Tour Manager had worked with Luke so he pitched for the job and we instantly loved the concept. Everyone wants to see the underdog have his day, right? We checked out his work and laughed our dicks off at the Maximo Park video he'd shot with the dude from This Is England so he got the gig! It surpassed all expectations and we couldn't be happier! It's definitely a step up from anything we've done before."

“Love Someone Else” is available and iTunes now. The album 'Changing Tune' will be released on 10th September 2012 via Island Records.
