New London Date Added To Jesus Christ Superstar UK And Ireland Arena Tour & Tickets

Due to demand, following the announcement of new shows at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena, Birmingham's NIA, Nottingham's Capital FM Arena and Manchester's Arena, another date at London's O2 Arena has been added to the 2012 Jesus Christ Superstar UK and Ireland arena tour.
Ben Forster has won the role of Jesus in the UK’s first ever arena tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. Starring Alongside Tim Minchin, Melanie C and Chris Moyles. Award-winning musical comedian Tim Minchin – also the co-writer of West End smash musical Matilda – is confirmed for the role of ‘Judas Iscariot’. Three million album selling pop icon and former Spice Girl Melanie C will take the only female lead as ‘Mary Magdalene’, and BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast Show host Chris Moyles will make his major stage debut as ‘King Herod’.
For the first time in the history of musical theatre, 60,000 people will see Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary rock classic Jesus Christ Superstar Jesus Christ Superstar in its opening week. The arena tour, which visits some of the country's biggest arenas in September and October, has already sold in excess of 100,000 tickets and generated advance box office sales of over £5 million. Jesus Christ Superstar will give arena audiences the opportunity to witness a full production of the musical including a full staging and live band.
