Morecambe-based indie-rockers The Heartbreaks have unveiled the brand new music video for their single ‘Polly’, out September 3rd, as well as two new UK dates.
The band are pleased to announce the premiere of new video for current single and live favourite ‘Polly’. Filmed in the glamorous environs of Brentford, frontman Matthew Whitehouse describes it with tongue possibly in cheek; ‘With this video, we set out to create something to rival the multi-roomed promo of Bryan Adams and Melanie Chisholm’s seminal 1998 collaboration, ‘When You’re Gone’.
And so, after wandering around the house all night, wondering what the hell to do, we decided to build a set on an industrial estate in Brentford, the reasoning being, when you're in Brentford, even food don’t taste that good.’ You can check out the video below.
The Heartbreaks continue a year of touring with new dates in London and Manchester in November. Having toured the UK in support of their debut album ‘Funtimes’, performed at a number of summer festivals, and played a series of hysterically received shows in Japan (following #1 airplay single ‘Delay, Delay’), the four-piece return to domestic duties with new UK live dates - you can find tickets to them by checking the dates and details below.
