Deftones Reveal New Album Details

American rock icons Deftones have revealed that their next studio album will be titled ‘Koi No Yokan!’.

The new album - set for a November 12th release - will be the seventh of the band’s 24 year career, and was recently recorded in Los Angeles alongside producer Nick Raskulinecz, who has previously worked with the likes of the Foo Fighters and Alice in Chains.

Speaking of the new record, frontman Chino Moreno revealed: “Obviously we’re an aggressive band – not the heaviest, but there’s a lot of attack. But there’s also this lush beauty that flows within everything that we do, and that’s my favorite part of the band. To me, it’s the epitome of what the Deftones do.”

The band just finished performing a number of North American dates alongside System of a Down - so with the release of a new album, could there be a new headline tour to coincide? Stay with Stereoboard to be the first to know if the band decide to hit the road later this year.
