YesYou Announce 'Frivolous Life' Single Release Date And Unveil Video

Brisbane duo Jono Kirkham and Gav Parry - a.k.a YesYou - have announced that they will release single ‘Frivolous Life’ on October 15th.
YesYou first caught attention with their unique brand of synth-soaked dream pop in 2011 when they offered unveiled their track ‘Half of It.’ Thankfully, ‘Frivolous Life’ proves that this Australian twosome are far from one hit wonders as they once again regale us with a batch of sonic bliss.
YesYou teamed up with Jinja Safari frontman Marcus Azon on this release. Jinja Safari recently impressed at Bestival, introducing many to their infectious brand of indie-afro-pop. The union is a winning formula, combining the forward thinking production methods of Parry and Kirkham with the gorgeous vocals of Azon to create a track that demands your full attention. While some collaborations can feel rather forced, YesYou and Azon merge together seamlessly to produce a genuine stand-out track, further stoking the anticipation for YesYou’s debut EP.
Parry & Kirkham developed a reputation producing for DZ Deathrays and Jinja Safari. Stepping out of the shadows, the band wowed playing shows alongside Electric Guest recently and promise to blow people away with their debut EP, to be released in November. ‘Frivolous Life’ is a track for all seasons- take a break from the September rain and check out the video below.
