Scams Announce 'Add And Subtract' Album Release Date

Leeds-based pop-rockers Scams have announced that their brand new album ‘Add and Subtract’ will hit shelves on October 8th.

‘Add and Subtract’ showcases the Scams as one of the finest upcoming indie/rock acts about. Their experimental and varied instrumental sound demonstrates their range of musical interests, as well as highlighting frontman Andy’s endless depth and expressiveness in his vocal talent - the band bring you an album that is both unique and familiar at the same time.

The album was recorded and produced in Hamburg back in November 2011 by Johann Scheerer, while Matt Wignall took over mixing duties at his home in Long Beach, California. The band have since returned to the studio to play a full album live playback session recorded directly to tape and set for vinyl release at the end of 2012.

Having already gained support from BBC Radio 1, XFM, Q Radio and Kerrang Radio, the band released their second single ‘Lifeboats’ on 10th September, which is now available as a free download via their Facebook page. 'Add and Subtract' is a vibrant album that should appeal greatly to fans of British indie-pop music, if not everybody.

You can check out the video for ‘Lifeboats’ below - make sure you don’t miss out when the album hits shelves on 8th October.
