Californian dance-pop star Ke$ha has opened about a rather intimate time that inspired her latest track ‘Supernatural’ - and revealed that she believes she has had sex with a ghost!
Speaking to radio station KIIS, the star revealed that her new album is a ‘spirutal journey’ and was themed by ‘magic’ - something possibly fueled by ‘sexy’ encounter with a ghost.
She told the station: “[Warrior is] about experiences with the supernatural, but in a sexy way. I had a couple of experiences with the supernatural. I don't know his name! He was a ghost! I'm very open to it."
Ke$ha continued: “The theme of this record is magic. I went on a spirit journey by myself. No security guard. No managers. I just went around the world and lived on a boat. I was in Africa rehabilitating baby lions. I went diving with great white sharks, and just went on this crazy spirit quest. I got hypnotised, and I just really wanted this record to be really positive, really raw, really vulnerable and about the magic of life.”
Ke$ha has unveiled a lyric video for her new single 'Die Young', out November 18th. 'Die Young' is the lead single from 'Warrior', which is released on December 3rd through Kemosabe/RCA Records. The track was co-written by Ke$ha, Nate Ruess from fun., Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco and Cirkut.
