Y LUV Stream New EP 'It Doesn't Have To Make Sense' - Listen Now

Y LUV revealed new track 'Driftin’' last Monday. One week and a whopping 30,000 plays later, the indie-pop group from Southern California sat at the top of Hype Machine, looking down on the likes of J.Cole and newcomers Haim.

ImageToday marks the release of their brand new EP 'It Doesn’t Have To Make Sense', a quartet of songs ranging from the anthemic to the introspective. This fast-rising band have the ability to conjure the atmosphere of a hot summer day in Autumn, which is surely not to be sneezed at as we enter the colder months. Featuring the Hype Machine dominating 'Driftin’' as well as brand new songs 'The NOC', 'Soothe', and 'If This Has An End', this EP represents just how exciting a band Y LUV are.

A quintet of USC graduates, Freddy, Sam, Evan, Luke and Marcello first grabbed our ears with mammoth single 'Keep It Rollin’' and 'All Night'. 'It Doesn’t Have To Make Sense' represents real growth from the band as they display an ear for hook laden pop stylings as well as complex arrangements and goosebump inducing guitar solos. To celebrate the release of the EP, the band are offering it up as a stream today.
