California quintet Y LUV have released a free download of The NOC. Taken from their 'It Doesn't Have To Make Sense' EP, The NOC is yet another stadium ready jam from this talented group of USC graduates. A track displaying influences ranging from indie to electro with a hearty sprinkle of pop sensibility, this track is yet another example of just why people are getting excited about Y LUV.
Interest in the band has been growing steadily over the past few weeks. The band released 'Driftin' two weeks ago to massive acclaim, a Hype Machine dominating offering which served as a wonderful precursor to their EP release last week.
Due to popular demand, the fast-rising band will be playing the main stage at the famous Voodoo Festival alongside names as lofty as Jack White and Nas. The New Orleans crowd will be exposed to the welcome sound of this up and coming LA band. As interest continues to grow, it will be exciting to see just how far Y LUV will go.
