Justin Bieber Is The World's First Person To Reach 3 Billion YouTube Views

Justin Bieber has become the first person to reach a phenomenal 3 billion views on his main YouTube channel according to Starcount's social media leaderboard. Although he is now the most viewed person on YouTube, the pop prince was pipped to the post by Lady Gaga for the 1 billion milestone in 2010 but has since been unbeaten on YouTube, with his song 'Baby' still the most watched YouTube video in the world with over 791 million views. Justin was pushed to the 3 billion mark with the help of his new video 'Beauty and a Beat' which has had over 43 million views in just over a week.
With the unprecedented arrival of Koreašs sensation Psy onto the YouTube scene, Bieber has a new video rival. Although he has gained over 125 million views this month, Gangnam Style has outdone him, with PSY gaining an incredible 407 million YouTube views on his channel in the last month. However, it doesnšt look like Bieber will be beaten on his total views anytime soon. His closest competition on YouTube is Rihanna, who overtook Lady Gagašs view count in January this year. Rihanna currently stands on 2.8 billion views on YouTube, while Gaga trails behind with 2.2 billion views.
Justin Bieberšs next move will be to try and surpass Lady Gaga on Twitter, where he has over 29.2 million followers, compared to her 30.5 million followers. Bieber gains around 35,000 new Twitter followers a day - while Gaga increases by only 30,000 - and he is set to become the second person to reach 30 million followers. Although he is the most viewed person on YouTube, as well as the second most followed on Twitter, Bieber is only the 8th most popular person on Facebook. After Rihanna overtook Eminem for the top spot on Facebook earlier this month, she now has over 61.9 million fans, whereas Bieber falls behind with just over 47 million Facebook fans. He is ranked in second place in Starcountšs all-time social popularity chart, behind Lady Gaga. While he has some way to go before he can steal Gagašs social media crown, Justin Bieberšs latest milestone cements his status as the most popular person on YouTube.
