Bestival Wins 'Best Major Festival' At The UK Festival Awards

Last night saw the great and the good from the world of festivals gathered in London for the annual UK Festival Awards with Bestival crowned a winner!
With headline sets from Stevie Wonder, Florence + the Machine and New Order, in the most beautiful site known to man Bestival's celebration of summer bagged the 'Best Major Festival'. Congratulations also to New Order who picked up 'Best Headliner', and declared how much they enjoyed Bestival in their speech.
Rob da Bank says: “What can I say? 7 out of 9 wins for Bestival in our class over the last few years so thanks so much for voting. We don’t really care about awards unless they’re voted for by you guys which this one was, so thanks for pressing the right button. Very exciting plans and acts up our sleeves for 2013 so watch this space.”
