Emeli Sande Unveils 'Clown' Video - Watch Now

Scottish singing sensation Emeli Sande has unveiled the brand new music video for her track ‘Clown’, released February 4th next year.
The track is the latest single to be taken from her 3x platinum, chart-topping debut album ‘Our Version of Events’, and will also act as her first release of 2013. Beautifully melodic and lyrically poignant, ‘Clown’ is metaphor-laden masterpiece - “It’s about how I felt when I was trying to get signed,” Sandé remembers. “I was going for all these meetings and people were looking at me like ‘What do we do with you’? It's about not allowing yourself to be judged by others or to be taken for an idiot. I feel the video reflects that”. Directed by Wiz (Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys) the video is about making a stand, believing in yourself and not allowing yourself to be judged - you can check it out below.
2012 saw the emergence of one of the most revered female solo artists that the UK has produced in years. Lauded by both her peers and the public alike, Emeli’s debut album ’Our Version of Events’ is the only album in the UK to have sold a million copies this year and has spent 42 consecutive weeks in the top ten, a feat not achieved by a debut album since the release of the Spice Girl’s debut ‘Spice’ in 2006.
Having achieved two #1 singles with Professor Green and Labrinth respectively, Emeli has also written tracks on recent albums by Rihanna and Alicia Keys and Jay-Z said of the superstar: “Emeli has a unique sound and she is going to be a big deal”.
Following a sold out UK tour (which included an incredible performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall), Sande has lined-up what will be the biggest UK tour of her career. Tickets have been selling like crazy and the star was forced to line-up a number of extra dates to simply accommodate the legions of fans she’s amassed this year.
