Manchester four-piece Embers have unveiled the brand new video to their track ‘Part of the Echoes’ - you can check it out below.
The brand new video - which was shot in the beautiful Gorton Monastery, a stunning historical building just outside of Manchester city centre - follows the critically acclaimed ‘Hollow Cage’ video which was unleashed recently. You can check it out embedded below.
After coming together at the end of 2011, Embers played their first gig at 'Sounds from the Other City Festival' for Drowned in Sound in Manchester. They've since gone from strength to strength, supporting Halls, The Invisible, DZ Deathrays and landing a slot at Dot-to-Dot festival.
They also self released an extremely limited edition 7inch earlier in the year with ‘Sins Unknown’ and ‘Tunnel Vision’ - the former of which was named single of the week on John Kennedy’s XFM show - and both lit up the blogosphere, receiving rave reviews.
Embers draw on the likes of Hans Zimmer, Brian Eno and John Murphy, blended with the more contemporary influences of Arcade Fire, Sigur Ros and Radiohead. The band admit that they “love film music” and it's been an important creative process in their development, with visual projections incorporated into their live show.
Their live show and songwriting talent is showcased perfectly in their brand new video - check it out below!
