Influential grunge outfit Mudhoney have announced a rare UK tour today, ahead of the release of their forthcoming album ‘Vanishing Point’.
Though never a massive band in terms of commercial success, Mudhoney are a seminal act and helped shape the grunge and alternative rock music scene and turn it into what it is today - they can be considered one of the genre’s pioneers alongside names like Nirvana and Pearl Jam.
Now, 25 years and more than eight studio albums down the line, they return for a fresh, June UK tour, which will see them performing brand new material from ‘Vanishing Point’ - out via Sub Pop Records on April 2nd - as well as their huge back catalogue.
Kicking off in Brighton’s Concorde 2 on June 4th, the tour will take Mudhoney to venues in Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, London, and Bristol, before they round off things in Birmingham’s HMV Institute Library on June 10th. Tickets go on sale this Friday (January 18th) at 9am, and will cost you £16.00 + fees (London more) - you can find yours through Stereoboard using the dates and links provided below.
