Papa Roach Officially Confirmed For Download Festival 2013

Download Festival promoter Andy Copping has just officially confirmed that Papa Roach WILL perform at Download Festival 2013, following Stereoboard's earlier report that the band had self-confirmed for the Donington Park weekender.

Frontman Jacoby Shaddix leaked the band’s appearance at the 2013 festival in a brief exchange with Essex electro-punk outfit Hounds on his Facebook page.

Shaddix and Hounds, who toured together as part of Stone Sour’s UK tour in December last year, shared a few comments on the band’s Facebook page before a fan asked when they’d be back in the UK, to which Shaddix simply replied, “DOWNLOAD”. You can see the Facebook announcement, here.

Papa Roach made it no secret during their last UK appearances that they intended to come back in 2013, however, Download festival bosses may be wishing they’d have kept that secret just a little longer.

Download Festival 2013 takes place at Donington Park, Leicestershire from 14th - 16th June 2013. Download Festival 2013 Tickets are on sale now, priced at £170 for a weekend arena ticket, £195 for 3 nights with camping, and £205 for 5 nights with camping.
