Randy Blythe: "I Am A Free Man. Please Remember The Family Of Daniel Nosek In This Difficult Time”

Tuesday, 05 March 2013 Written by Jon Stickler

Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe has responded after being acquitted of all charges that he caused the death of 19 year-old Prague fan Daniel Nosek in 2010.

ImageThe singer, who could've faced five years behind bars if convicted, travelled to Prague to continue his fight against the charges. The final day of the trial took place today and he announced the acquittal on Instagram earlier this afternoon.

“I have been found not guilty & acquitted of all charges against me. I am a free man. This photo was taken by my friend @aceyslade - it says it all. Please remember the family of Daniel Nosek in your thoughts & prayers in this difficult time. I only wish for them peace. Thank you for your support- Randy”

Blythe was arrested last year at an airport in the Czech Republic and held for five weeks, before being allowed to return to the US on bail. After returning to finish the trial, Blythe’s prayers have finally been answered - and he’s been acquitted of the charges.

The news that Randy Blythe was acquitted broke shortly after midday (GMT) today.
