Beacons Festival Announce Bonobo As Friday Headliner And Ghostpoet Performance

Beacons Festival have revealed their Friday night headliner. The Leeds born Simon Green (aka Bonobo) is due to release his fifth album later this year and will headline that evening bringing his electronic wizardry to the cutting–edge music and arts festival. Ghostpoet, who was a highlight of last year's sellout festival, returns and will also play the Friday.

ImageBeacons are starting to release details of the non-music programme. Various guerilla theatrics will unfold across the site, and festival favorites The Impossible Lecture will be back for their 72-hour lecture of endurance. The Garden shed Stage will also host impromptu events throughout the weekend. An Interactive light and sound installation is promised to delight the eyes and ears with a host of hand crafted structures and installations throughout the site. The spoken word and film tent, Into The Woods will run in conjunction with Sheffield Docfest and Cine Yorkshire.

Beacons is a three-day, four-night festival and for a short period, tickets are available at a reduced early bird rate of £74.50. Only a few earlybirds are now remaining, and tickets will rise to £99.50 once the allocation is out.
