The Rolling Stones are returning to the live stage this summer, performing a special show at London's Hyde Park on Saturday 6th July. The Rolling Stones Tickets are ON GENERAL SALE 9AM TODAY, Friday 5th April.
Following the huge success of their '50 and Counting' shows at the end of last year, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood will return almost 44 years to the day since the Stones first played Hyde Park in 1969. This new show is part of the Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park event.
Speaking about the return, Mick says: “We had such a great time playing the five concerts last year, we want to keep it going! Hyde Park holds such great memories for us and we can’t think of anywhere better to perform to our UK fans this summer.”
Keith Richards added: “We all had such a ball last year, and the energy between the band is so good, we can’t wait to get back on that stage where the Stones belong.”
It is believed a second show has been scheduled for the following Saturday on July 13th, however, at time of publishing, the second date has not yet been officially confirmed. Check back to Stereoboard for an update!
