Legendary rap group Wu Tang Clan have announced that they’ll release their brand new album ‘A Better Tomorrow’ this July.
The group are celebrating their 20th anniversary and have been working on a brand new record since as far back as 2011 - now fans have been given the all important details of the long-awaited return of the Wu Tang Clan.
The new album has been named as ‘A Better Tomorrow’, and it’s their first LP since 2007’s ‘8 Diagrams’. What’s better is, the band have already revealed two UK dates where you can catch them performing their new tracks, as well as some of their crowd favourites.
Speaking to Radio.com, Wu Tang rapper Cappadonna has also revealed that recording for the album has already begun - further fuelling excitement amongst Clan fans across the world.
"I already spoke to the RZA,” Cappadonna explained. “We've been texting each other. We're definitely concentrating on more positivity and teachings and trying to put that back into the original recipe for this next Wu-Tang album.”
He continued: “The recording has begun... It's all being done in the secret Wu-Tang Bat chamber. RZA has all the tracks lined up. There are recordings taking place in New York, LA and perhaps at the Wu mansion in New Jersey.”
So now, all fans have to do is sit tight and wait for the record - but make sure you don’t forget your tickets for the Clan’s two UK dates this July! Check the dates and links below to find a pair through Stereoboard.
