American power pop outfit Paramore gave their fans the best possible news when they announced that they’d be returning with a new album last year, after the group was rocked by the bitter departure of Josh and Zac Farro. Now, their eponymous comeback album is out, and people love it - its heading straight for the #1 spot this weekend!
Superstar singer Justin Timberlake has been enjoying himself at the top of the charts, but his reign in pole position looks set to end this Sunday, with the Official Charts Company reporting that Hayley Williams and co. are set to snatch top spot from the ‘Suit & Tie’ man.
The self-titled LP is currently on top of the company’s Official Chart Update, and they say that it’s out-selling Timberlake’s ‘The 20/20 Experience’ by three to one. Pink’s ‘The Truth About Love’ is holding down the #3 spot, followed by Imagine Dragons’ ‘Night Visions’ - Stone Sour’s new record ‘House of Gold & Bones Part II’ completes the Top 5.
Paramore will be hoping they continue to lead the pack until Sunday, meaning they’ll secure what will be their second UK #1. And, that’s not where the good British news stops - keep your eyes peeled on Stereoboard in the next few weeks for more exciting Paramore news!
For now, check out their single ‘Still Into You’ below!
