Glasgow alt-rockers Travis have announced that they’ll be releasing a brand new album on August 19th - and that they’ll be touring the globe in support of it.
The 90s outfit are returning to our ears for the first time in five years this summer, delivering what will be their seventh studio album ‘Where You Stand’. They’ll also be releasing a brand new single of the same name tomorrow - look out for that on the site this week.
The news was broken via an image posted on the band’s website - check it out below.
Commenting on their return, bassist Dougie Payne said:
“You stay away as long as it takes, so you feel that hunger and desire to get back to it same as you did at the start.”
As the image tells, the band will be touring in support of the new album, and they’ve promised us that it ‘will be international’, No dates have been confirmed as of yet, but an announcement is expected in the next feek weeks - stay with Stereoboard to stay up-to-date with Travis’ tour plans.
