Sacred Mother Tongue Post New Track 'A Final Idea' Online

Thursday, 16 May 2013 Written by Jon Stickler

Fresh from launching their new album ‘Out Of The Darkness’ on both sides of the Atlantic to great critical acclaim (read Stereoboard's review here), and announcing auditions for a replacement to newly departed bassist Josh Gurner, Sacred Mother Tongue have just posted a treat for fans online.

The band recently revisited a track from their debut album, ‘The Ruin Of Man’, and re-imagined it as an acoustic song, recorded live one evening and posted up online. Stunningly different to the original and showcasing an altogether mellower side to the band, this new take on ‘A Final Idea’ is the perfect late night gift from Sacred Mother Tongue.

As previously announced the band play the Main Stage at this year’s Download Festival before heading out on a UK and European tour with Hellyeah & P.O.D.

Sacred Mother Tongue UK Live Dates are as follows:

Sat 15th June 2013 – Download Festival, UK
Mon 17th June 2013 - LONDON Electric Ballroom (with POD & Hellyeah)
Tue 18th June 2013 - SOUTHAMPTON The Cellars (with POD)
