Cat Power Set To Ditch US Following Instagram Rant

American singer-songwriter Cat Power has apparently decided to pack her bags and leave the US, having posted a lengthy rant about the country via her Instagram account.
The post sees the 41 year-old hitting out at the US government and ‘the powers-that-be’, and suggesting that the country think about using a three-party system/tripartisan. She also tagged a load of world famous celebrities in the post, ranging from French house duo Daft Punk, to television host Ellen Degeneres.
The post, written in a massive block of all-caps, sits in front of an image of the Statue of Liberty, and can be seen here. You can check it out below - it make take a couple of reads to sink in fully!
“THANK YOU FOR THE HOPE IN YOUR SYMBOLISM. BUT I HAVE TO LEAVE, AMERICA. AND UNDER THERE, IS OUR GROUND. IT IS OUR LAND AND IF WE HAVE TO FIGHT FOR OUR LAND AND OUR VOICE TO BE HEARD, HOW DO YOU FIGHT WITH JUST A WORD IN TEXT, SPEAK IT.
