With exclusive UK festival performances from headliners Green Day, Eminem and Biffy Clyro, plus exclusive appearances from Fall Out Boy, System of A Down, Deftones, Skrillex and more, Reading & Leeds can now announce over 30 more names for the Festivals.
New names for the main stage include The Pretty Reckless and Don Broco. The NME/Radio 1 Stage grows with the addition of Night Engine, Darwin Deez, Deaf Havana, Villagers and Wavves, while the Radio 1 Dance Stage expands with Alvin Risk, Post War Years and Pegboard Nerds.
That's not all as there are many more bands added to the Lock Up/Rock Stage. Hardcore connoisseurs Feed The Rhino will be playing the best of their rough, riff-heavy emphatic hardcore stylings for die-hard fans. The Creepshow and rising talent Rat Attack will be thrilling festival goers with their pop-punk indie stylings.
Other acts confirmed for the Lock Up/Rock Stage include British band Palm Reader, Brighton-based band Gnarwolves, Sonic Boom Six (SB6), Off With Their Heads, Guitarist, songwriter and singer Chuck Ragan, Anti Vigilante, four-piece punk rockers Sharks, Great Cynics, legendary industrial-rock band Filter, pioneers of the ‘djent’ genre Hacktivist, three-piece rock band The Virginmarys, US rock trio Beware Of Darkness and Portland based band Hawk Eyes.
The Festival Republic Stage welcomes new acts to the line-up, including LA based four-piece Papa, Charlie Boyer And The Voyeurs, Savages, critics’ favourite DIIV, Dan Croll, alternative pop rockers Sons & Lovers, acclaimed electronic music duo Mount Kimbie, Frankie & The Heartstrings, In The Valley Below, Leeds rock ‘n’ rollers China Rats and Australian four-piece San Cisco.
The 1Xtra Stage sees British rapper Itch perform his blend of UK rap and rock riffs, while Chicago based Chance The Rapper also joins the line-up.
