English pop singer-songwriter Jessie J has revealed that her second album will be more eclectic than her 2011 debut ‘Who Are You’.
The award-winning 25 year-old released ‘Wild’ - the first single from her soon-come new album - back in May, and speaking in an interview with Digital Spy, she revealed that the new record will see her taking on a lot more different styles than she did with her first.
Asked if ‘Wild’ was an indication of things to come, she told the site:
“Everyone keeps saying that, but no! The next single is straight-up pop and everything on the album is completely different. 'Wild' was the one that grabbed people's attention, but the album is really eclectic actually - probably more so than the first one.”
She continued on to talk about it’s progress, saying:
“Pretty much. We're just sorting out some features, production, final vocals and some mixes and masters. The body of work is pretty much there and I'm just doing the album thank you's now. It's always the hardest part, because you always feel like you're going to miss someone out.”
