It was recently confirmed that the singer will return with a special performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 25 in Brooklyn, New York. The pop sensation will use the performance to premiere the first single from 'ARTPOP'.
'ARTPOP' will hit shelves on November 11 in traditional formats and as an app for smartphones and tablets. Pre-orders for the album - the follow-up to 'Born This Way' - begin on August 19, with a single - Applause - slated for release the same day.
