Jay Z has released the latest teaser for his forthcoming short film, Picasso Baby: A Performance Art Film.
The hip hop giant performed for six hours straight at a gallery in New York for the project, which will premiere on HBO on August 2. During the trailer, Jay Z describes the personal relationship between artist and fan that's captured in the film:
"Rap is thinking out loud, and you’re putting your fears and your vulnerabilities and your insecurities to music. Concerts are pretty much performance art, and a smaller venue is a bit more intimate, so you feel the energy of the people."
Jay Z released 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' earlier in July, and will hit the UK for a series of huge arena shows in October 2013.
